"A Tejano Christmas Carol" follows the Charles Dickens story adapted to South Texas. In this version, the well-known Ebenezer Scrooge becomes Ezequiel Codos, the most powerful businessman in the region and a big-time water broker and land owner. His greed threatens to dry up the most powerful water resource in the RGV, the Rio Grande.
In this dramatic, heartfelt, and hilarious story, Codos is visited by 3 ghosts that reflect authentic Rio Grande Valley flavor through characters, music, singing and a flare of South Texas Christmas excitement.
